Ben Watson reckons Crystal Palace have hit form at the perfect time to gate-crash the play-offs.
Saturday's 2-0 win over Scunthorpe has given the Selhurst Park club a great chance of making the end of season finale.
The Eagles occupy sixth place and know victories over rivals Watford and Hull City in their next two games will put them in the box seat for a play-off finish with a home clash against Burnley on the last day.
"We're all buzzing after the weekend," said midfielder Watson. "Another good win and we're still in the play-off spots. I think we are just excited more than anything.
"Especially now that we have got a real chance of getting into the play-offs. There are two big away games coming up but if we can get past them then I don’t see why we can't make it.
"We are nine games unbeaten now. We've hit form at just the right time. It would be nice if we could keep that going until the end of the season. As I've said before, there is no fear or pressure. Hopefully we can give it one last push.
"Sometimes you have to fight to keep the feeling of pressure away. But, because of the way this season started - losing our manager and being 3rd from bottom - things could only get better and the pressure was off."
