Crystal Palace keeper Julian Speroni has been crowned Player of the Year.

Speroni, 29, has had a magnificent season which has seen him establish himself as an ever-present for the first time since joining from Dundee in 2004.

The Argentine kept 13 clean sheets and was part of the backline that conceded the fewest goals in the Championship.

Sean Scannell was named Young Player of the Year and Vice Presidents' Young Player of the Year after an impressive breakthrough into the first team from the Academy side.

The 17-year-old marked an excellent campaign resulting in a call-up to the Republic of Ireland senior squad after impressing for Ireland's Under-18s.

The trophy will sit alongside the gong he picked up for being named Ireland's Young Player of the Year in February.

Scannell was not at Selhurst Park to collect his award as he is away with the Ireland squad for a training camp in Portugal ahead of friendles against Colombia and Serbia.

Shaun Derry picked up the Vice Presidents' Player of the Year gong. Scholar Player of the Year was Lee Hills and 14-year-old Kyle de Silva was named the Academy Player of the Year.

James Scowcroft won Goal of the Season for his strike against Wolves, while Clinton Morrison was presented with a special award for reaching 100 Crystal Palace goals.

Geoff Thomas was given a Special Achievement award for his services to the club.
