Dayton becomes a Glove man

August 26 2008

James Dayton

James Dayton

Crystal Palace young gun James Dayton has joined League One side Yeovil Town on a month's loan.

The wing ace had an impressive pre-season tour of Cornwall with the Eagles which included two goals in a 4-1 win over Bodmin Town.

Dayton, who is back to his best after overcoming a cruciate ligament injury, is set to feature in Neil Warnock's first team this season.

But the 19-year-old will get valuable experience on loan with the Glovers and help solve an injury problem.

Dayton could feature in Yeovil's Carling Cup second round tie against Middlesborough tonight.
