The Football League
Crystal Palace entertain Nottingham Forest in a quick turnaround of fixtures.
It was only three weeks ago that the Eagles recorded a 2-0 victory over the league’s worst side and anything but another three points on Tuesday will be considered a disappointment.
Forest have been woeful this season, and while their last couple of performances have been a slight improvement, they travel to South London lacking confidence and lacking goals. They could find things tough to break down the stingy Palace back-line while they have to go back to mid-September for their last clean-sheet.
Everything points to a Crystal Palace victory but a best price 4/6 is hardly going to make anyone rich. At a much better price is the Eagles to win 2-0 at 7/4, which given the two sides' current form, looks like a steal.
Back Crystal Palace to win 2-0 @ 7/4 with Blue Square.
Elsewhere in the Championship Ipswich (10/11) look a good bet to overcome a desperate Charlton side at home. I also fancy Birmingham (13/8) to maintain their good form at manager-less QPR. Putting Palace (4/6) in a treble with those two pays around the 7/1 mark.
Back Crystal Palace / Ipswich / Birmingham Treble with all leading bookmakers.
