Julian Speroni has scooped the Crystal Palace Player of the Year award.

The Eagles keeper, 29, picked up the honour for the second successive season after another brilliant campaign between the posts.

Speroni, who signed from Dundee in 2004, kept 15 clean sheets and pipped pre-awards favourite Clint Hill to the prize.

"I am very happy to win this award again," said Speroni. "I have been at the club for five years and I'm delighted to be here. The last two years have been great, working under Neil Warnock."

Portuguese centre back Jose Fonte clinched the Vice Presidents' Player of the Year honour.

In his debut season right-back Nathaniel Clyne, 18, collected the Young Player Of The Year gong, along with Scholar Of The Year and the Vice Presidents Young Player Of The Year awards.

Paddy McCarthy's long-range goal away to Derby was voted Goal of the Season at the end-of-season-awards bash at Selhurst Park.
