Julian Speroni
Crystal Palace and Sheffield Wednesday shared the spoils in a goalless draw at Selhurst Park.
Three days after disposing of Championship leaders West Brom, shot-shy Palace and Wednesday wasted a number of chances to score.
The first culprit was Paddy McCarthy from close range, then team-mate Darren Ambrose from a similar position shortly after.
In the 12th minute, Alan Lee somehow put his effort from Victor Moses' chip wide of the goal in the best opportunity yet.
Wednesday did not threaten Julian Speroni until just before half-time as Leon Clarke hit the side netting then fired over from an acute angle.
After the interval, Clarke had a shot pushed out by Speroni and the striker later put Lewis Buxton's cross wide of the target.
Clarke wasted another chance when Speroni parried Buxton's cross at his feet and managed to spoon the ball over the bar.
Danny Butterfield had to clear Marcus Tudgay's attempt off the line after Darren Potter's free-kick caused problems in the Palace defence.
While Palace's Neil Danns almost broke the deadlock with a drive that was deflected just off target it ended all square.
