Crystal Palace continued their recent good form with a 4-1 win at home to Blackpool.

The home side got off to a flying start by taking the lead after just three minutes when Danny Butterfield sent over a cross from the right for Alan Lee to nod into the back of the net.

Blackpool recovered from the early setback and bgean to take a foothold in the game with Charlie Adam blasting over a free-kick, then Keith Southern brought out a decent save from Julian Speroni.

Sean Scannell hit a post for the Eagles before they doubled their advantage through Neil Danns who headed home Shaun Derry's perfect cross just past the half hour mark.

Alex Baptiste tried his luck from distance for Blackpool but the half ended with Palace two goals up.

After the break, Blackpool keeper Paul Rachubka saved from Darren Ambrose before the visiting side pulled a goal back in the 53rd minute.

David Vaughan put over a cross into the area and Baptiste got ahead of Paddy McCarthy to head past Speroni.
