Darren Ambrose
Darren Ambrose continued his excellent scoring form with an equalising goal in Crystal Palace's 1-1 draw at QPR.
The midfielder got on the scoresheet again, this time with a second half penalty, to earn Palace a point at Loftus Road.
Former Palace winger Wayne Routledge had the first chance of the game after three minutes but saw his shot saved by Julian Speroni.
And the R's took a 19th minute lead from the penalty spot after winger Adel Taarabt was tripped in the box by Danny Butterfield. Akos Buzsaky converted the kick.
The Eagles almost equalised when Neil Danns fed Ambrose whose cross for striker Stern John was pushed onto the post.
Shortly afterwards, Rangers were unable to clear Ambrose's corner and Alassane N'Diaye's shot smacked against Buzsaky on the line.
Speroni was on alert to save Routledge's one-on-one effort and again from Jay Simpson before half-time.
Danns volleyed over the just after the break and Speroni was again in excellent form to block Alejandro Faurlin's strike.
Clint Hill cleared Taarabt's lob off the line as Rangers threatened to increase their advantage.
But it took another old Palace player, defender Fitz Hall, to bring Palace back in the match when he gave away a penalty for bundling over Freddie Sears in the box. Ambrose stepped up to score his ninth goal of the season.
Radek Cerny saved Alan Lee's header before opposite number Speroni palmed out Buzsaky's free-kick and Rowan Vine's volley as the London derby ended all square.
