Team news

Crystal Palace defender Danny Butterfield is out until the New Year with a hamstring problem so Nathaniel Clyne will step in at right-back.

Paddy McCarthy is expected to be out until March after undergoing an operation on his shoulder injury.

Ipswich duo Grant Leadbitter and Jon Walters are suspended, but David Norris may come back to the side after four months out with a knee injury. Loan striker Stern John is not eligible to play against parent club Palace.

Quotes

Roy Keane

"We’ve not got back-to-back victories yet so let’s hope we can put that right at Palace. We’re playing catch-up and, although our performances have been a lot better recently, we’ve made it very hard for ourselves.

"We’ll have to do better in the second half of the season but there are a lot of games ahead and lots of points to be won. We’re going to have to go for it."
