Alan Lee
Paul Hart got off to a winning start as Crystal Palace manager with a 1-0 win over Sheffield United.
Target man Alan Lee scored the only goal of the game to give Palace's hopes of avoiding relegation a major boost.
Lee netted from match's the first clear-cut chance when Danny Butterfield's superb cross from the right was put away from close range by the Irishman.
Calvin Andrew, who was partnering Lee in attack, put an effort narrowly wide of the goal.
Julian Speroni was equal to Jamie Ward's attempt on goal from a Mark Yeates free-kick in United's first major effort.
The Blades improved in the second half but it was Palace who were more likely to score next as Darren Ambrose tested keeper Mark Bunn.
Lee then put Nick Carle's cross over and Andrew nodded Ambrose's centre off target as the hosts pushed for a crucial second goal.
Bunn parried an Ambrose free-kick as Palace collected a welcome three points at Selhurst Park.
