Crystal Palace forward Alan Lee is sidelined with a groin strain after coming off injured against QPR last week.

Fellow target man Calvin Andrew faces a late fitness test after clashing heads with Damion Stewart in the same game and was also forced off the pitch.

Full-backs Danny Butterfield and Nathaniel Clyne returned from injury last time out and will be available for selection, while cente half Claude Davis may return after missing the last two matches with a knee problem.

Derby striker Chris Porter hopes to overcome an ankle injury in time to start. Dean Moxey, Gilles Sunu and Gary Teale are aiming for recalls to the side. Stephen Pearson is suspended and Kris Commons is out with a hamstring injury.

"It is another big game, they all are at this stage of the season for us. But from what I have seen in training this week the players look ready to put last weekend's performance behind them. They are a good group and I'm sure they will respond in a positive way.

"Alan Lee is a quick healer but it's hard to say at the minute when he might be back. We'll just have to be patient. Calvin Andrew is improving but it was a hell of a bang. We'll leave a decision on him as long as we possibly can. He has been for a scan and seen a specialist but he was still having headaches earlier in the week so we've got to wait a little longer before making an assessment."
