Julian Speroni has been named Crystal Palace's Player Of The Year for the third consecutive time at the end of year awards.

When asked about his future with the club the 30-year-old shot stopper told the Croydon Guardian: "I'm waiting for next week to see if we have any news on the future owners of the club."

"I'm looking forward to that and seeing where we are and what to do in the near future.

"I hear all the rumours about me but I am just waiting, I don't have anything else.

"I am still a Palace player and I am happy with that, I just have to wait and see.

"I have said many times before I would play here all my life if I could.

"I am comfortable and I am happy and my relationship with the fans is fantastic.

"If I could play here all my life, then why not?

"A footballer's career is a short career though and sometimes you have to do what's best for your family and yourself.

"A lot of things are going on at the moment though so we will see what happens."

Among the other awards given out at the sell out event at Selhurst Park, Nathaniel Clyne was named Young Player Of The Year and Darren Ambrose won goal of the season for his free kick against Aston Villa in the fifth round of the FA Cup.
