Clinton Morrison

Clinton Morrison picked up a shin injury during a training session in Spain, which could keep him from playing in the remaining game of the club's pre-season tournament.

The striker already missed Wednesday's 4-0 win over local club San Pedro and now looks likely to be missing the final game of the Marbella Cup against Croatian side Osijek on Sunday.

The Eagles will have to wait until they return to England to discover the full extent of the injury, and manager Steve Bruce will be hoping that the injury problem is not serious as Morrison is currently one of only two senior strikers at the club.

Bruce was forced to play Stephen Kabba in attack alongside Dougie Freedman against San Pedro.
