Wilfried Zaha

Team news

Wilfried Zaha is available after Crystal Palace successfully appealled against his red card against Leicester in midweek. David Wright (calf) and Jermaine Easter (thigh) will have late tests, while Alex Marrow (ankle) is still on the treatment table.

Scunthorpe's Michael O'Connor is a doubt due to a thigh injury, Garry Thompson (groin) will miss the rest of the season and Cliff Byrne (calf) is still sidelined.

Quotes

Roy Hodgson

"We move on to two huge matches against Scunthorpe and Doncaster. Scunthorpe simply have to win and will come out all guns blazing but we have a fearsome home record and are afraid of no one. If we come through those two games unbeaten I think our Championship status will be all but secured."

Alan Knill

"Everybody knows how big this game is. For us, we have got to go there, be positive and try to get three points – I don't know any other way.

"We have got to express ourselves and play with freedom. For me, it's a don't lose game. If we can't win, then we must make sure we do come away with something.

"As an underdog, you have nothing to lose. Palace have a decent home record and the expectation is for them to win.

"Our away record is pretty poor so no-one fancies us to go there and win. Everybody has already written us off, that we are going down to League One next season. When you step into that sort of situation, if you go in with no fear, then you might surprise a few people.

"It's another big game, they are all big games when you're in the position we are trying to stay in the league. But there is no better place to go and try and get a result than the team directly above you in the table.

"We're six points behind and games are running out. We have to go there and do everything we can to get three points and close that gap between them and us."
