Crystal Palace
Crystal Palace are in talks with Middlesbrough striker Andy Campbell after the two clubs agreed a transfer fee of around £1m.
Campbell, 22, struggled to get a regular first team place in the Boro side and asked for a transfer last season.
Steve Bruce signed the England under-21 international on loan when he was Sheffield United boss.
Boro boss Steve McClaren told the club's official website, www.mfc.co.uk: "It's just up to the player to go and have a look around and agree terms,"
"It was something that happens in football. We agreed if we thought it was a good deal for the club and also looking at Andy's career, it was also deemed a good move for the player, then we would consider it.
"We've done our end of the bargain by thinking it's a good opportunity for Middlesbrough Football Club and for the player. Now he's just got to decide if it's a good opportunity for Andy Campbell."
Campbell has had to compete with Alen Boksic, Dean Windass, Noel Whelan, Brian Deane and Carlos Marinelli for a place in the side.
