Crystal Palace lost a thrilling game 3-2 away to Leeds United.

In an evenly contested affair, the home team took an eighth minute lead after Charlie Taylor sent over a cross from near the halfway line and Ross McCormack found space from his marker to head home.

Three minutes later, Palace were back on terms as Mile Jedinak's free-kick found Paddy McCarthy who converted at the far post.

Robert Snodgrass hit the post for Leeds and when the ball was collected by Speroni, he helped set up Palace's second goal. The Argentine stopper punted upfield to Jermaine Easter on the left and the striker strode past Paddy Kisnorbo and crossed to Sean Scannell to score on 21 minutes for his third goal of the season.

Palace were by far the better side but were hit by a sucker blow when Luciano Becchio headed in McCormack's free-kick on 71 minutes.

And Leeds claimed an unjust winner with six minutes remaining when Mikael Forssell's flick-on fell to McCormack who netted past Speroni.
