Jermaine Easter
Crystal Palace suffered their first home defeat of the season with a 1-0 loss against 10-man Middlesbrough.
In-form striker Marvin Emnes netted the only goal of the game midway through the second half to help lift Boro, who had Joe Bennett sent off, to the top of the table.
Emnes scored against the run of play after 65 minutes from an acute angle for his eighth goal of the season.
Ten minutes later, Boro went down to 10 men when Bennett was shown a second yellow card for bringing down Wilfried Zaha.
Palace almost equalised eight minutes from time when Jermaine Easter hit the crossbar from Zaha's cross.
Palace: Speroni, Ramage, McCarthy, Tunchev, Moxey, Parr (Murray 68), Jedinak, Wright (Williams 80), Ambrose (Zaha 66), Easter, Scannell.
Not Used: Price, Gardner.
Middlesbrough: Ikeme, McMahon, Bates, Haroun (McManus 79), Hoyte, Rhys Williams, Bailey, Robson, Bennett, Emnes, McDonald (Thomson 76).
Not Used: Zemmama, Kink, Martin.
