Wilfried Zaha
Crystal Palace moved to within touching distance of the play-off places with a 2-0 win at Watford.
Watford started the brighter of the sides with Michael Kightly forcing Julian Speroni to turn his effort around the post before Joe Garner smacked the woodwork in the 14th minute.
Palace's best chance of the half arrived in the 33rd minute when Wilfried Zaha's cross in the box was missed by Glenn Murray and the ball fell to Sean Scannell who saw his shot saved by Scott Loach.
But the Eagles broke the deadlock through Zaha after 65 minutes for his fifth goal this season with a swift counter-attack move. David Wright passed to Scannell from his own half and his throughball set up Zaha to race past Carl Dickinson and fire a superb shot past Loach.
And substitute Jermaine Easter made sure of the points with a dipping right-foot finish over Loach in added time for his third goal of the season.
Watford: Loach, Doyley, Taylor (Mirfin 57), Mariappa, Dickinson, Eustace, Forsyth (Yeates 67), Kightly, Hogg, Sordell (Iwelumo 73), Garner.
Not Used: Gilmartin, Buaben.
Palace: Speroni, Clyne, McCarthy, Tunchev, Ramage, Wright, Parr (Gardner 80), Dikgacoi (Jedinak 72), Scannell (Easter 85), Zaha, Murray.
