Mile Jedinak

Team news

Australian midfielder Mile Jedinak is available again after serving a one match ban. Darren Ambrose and Chris Martin are pushing for starting roles. Centre-half Dekel Keinan (ankle) is back training again but full-back Dean Moxey (knee)is doubtful.

Millwall defender Nathan Baker is unlikely to play due to a knee injury so Alan Dunne or former Palace defender Tony Craig will stand by to step in. On-loan midfielder Brian Howard has returned to Reading.

Quotes

Roy Hodgson

"Kenny Jackett is a really good guy. What a wonderful job he's done at Millwall. I played there with Leeds a few years ago and they were pretty much rock bottom of League One. He's done a fantastic job, he's such a great manager and a great man.

"He was on the end of the phone when I was starting out and we were down in a relegation battle and you don't forget people who were on the end of the phone and he was one of those people. I have got a lot of time for him as a man and as a manager, it takes a true man to pick up the phone when you're down in the dumps. But when the whistle goes you go toe to toe. It's about who is better prepared on the day.

"It surprises me that we've not beaten them since 2002, but to be honest I don't look at statistics as to what's happened in the past, I look back on games to help me try to win in the future. I was not keen on the way we played at Millwall last year. I will use that experience to help the players prepare better this time."
