Crystal Palace winger Sean Scannell sits this fixture out with a one game ban after his red card against Leeds last weekend. Contract rebel Nathaniel Clyne is available for selection after recovering from a virus and left-back Dean Moxey has recovered from a injured knee that has kept him out for the past two months.

Alex Marrow is stepping up his rehabilitation from a knee injury and hopes to be back next month. Lee Hills is fully fit after recovering from his knee problem but is likely to go out on loan.

Blackpool goalkeeper Matt Gilks is set to return after missing the last month with a groin problem. Skipper Barry Ferguson is back in the squad after serving a three-match ban.
