If March is anything like February Crystal Palace will find themselves in a fight for one of the four cherished play-off places, writes Jamie Hinks.
The month’s second test sees the Eagles travel to Coventry’s Ricoh Arena and good news for the punters; we’ve only ever lost at there once in the league.
Palace have had two four-goal hauls in the Midlands – that has since dried up to a maximum of two goals in any of their last five visits to the Ricoh.
Those games have seen less than 3.5 goals scored between the two sides and the low scoring nature means that below 2.5 goals would be attractive were the best odds not 8/15 with Betdaq.
Better value than this can be found if you take Palace to win at half time – it’s happened in three of the last five away games – at 14/5 with StanJames.
If you’re looking at a Palace goalscorer Darren Ambrose is your best place to go. Dambrose has yet to net against the Sky Blues this term; a feat he managed in the last two seasons. He’s 10/1 as first goalscorer with a plethora of books including Sky Bet and BetVictor.
