O'Keefe heads to Cardiff

January 28 2015

Crystal Palace midfielder Stuart O'Keefe has joined Championship side Cardiff City.

The 23-year-old has struggled to get in the Palace line-up this season – featuring just three times – while he played four games on loan with Blackpool at the end of last year.

The midfield terrier joins the Bluebirds for an undisclosed fee and pens a two-and-a-half-year contract.

O'Keefe arrived from Southend United in August 2010 and will be remembered for his role in Palace's Championship play-off victory and wonder goal against Sunderland last season.

He will link up with former Eagles favourites Danny Gabbidon and Kagisho Dikgacoi in South Wales.
