Crystal Palace midfielder Mile Jedinak has been charged by the FA for violent conduct.

Jedinak appeared to elbow West Ham's Diafra Sakho during Palace's 3-1 victory on Saturday and was not seen by the referee but captured on video.

If the Aussie is suspended for violent conduct, he would miss four fixtures as he has already been sent off this season.

A statement on the FA website read: "Mile Jedinak has been charged for an alleged act of violent conduct which was not seen by the match officials but caught on video.

"Off the ball incidents in Premier League matches which are not seen at the time by the match officials are referred to a panel of three former elite referees.

"Each panel member will review the video footage independently of one another to determine whether they consider it a sending-off offence.

"For retrospective action to be taken, the decision by the panel must be unanimous. Jedinak has until 6pm tomorrow (Tuesday 3 March) to reply to the charge."
