Crystal Palace claimed a brilliant 2-1 victory over Premier League champions Manchester City.
Goals from Glenn Murray and Jason Puncheon helped Palace to a third straight win and dent City's hopes of retaining the title.
Alan Pardew's men gave an early statement of intent in the opening seconds with Martin Kelly's delightful cross evading the City defence and Wilfried Zaha put the ball over at full stretch.
City responded with Joe Hart launching the ball quickly to Sergio Aguero, who rounded Julian Speroni and cut back to David Silva, but his shot was saved by Speroni's shoulder.
Aguero gave Palace a scare by hitting the upright, however, it was Palace who took the lead on 34 minutes.
Joel Ward lobbed the ball into the penalty area, Joe Ledley nodded it on, and Scott Dann's shot was saved by Hart but only into the path of Murray who tapped in. The City players protested that it was offside but it counted as Murray's fifth goal in as many games.
Palace extended their lead three minutes into the second half with Murray having a hand in matters. The striker was bundled over 25 yards from goal and Puncheon curled a superb free-kick beyond England keeper Hart.
And the home side hung on despite Yaya Toure's arrowed drive to pull it back to 2-1 as the Eagles recorded a memorable three points.
