Bamford: Played his last game for Palace, and failed to score
Crystal Palace make it six games unbeaten in the Premier League with a 0-0 draw against Swansea City.
Alan Pardew was forced to make more changes to the lineup after knocks picked up in the game against Bournemouth on Boxing Day.
Brede Hangeland replaced Damien Delaney in central defence, and Marouane Chamakh was preferred up front.
Yohan Cabaye and Mile Jedinak replaced Joe Ledley and Jordon Mutch in midfield.
In the first half Cabaye had two chances that flashed wildly high and wide, and Wilfried Zaha turned down a fine opening for a shot from 16 yards.
Any more chances were hard to come by before the break, with Chamakh struggling to make an impact in the game.
Cabaye picked up a yellow card for a challenge, which will see him miss the next game against Chelsea.
Pardew decided to replace Chamakh with Patrick Bamford at half time.
Hangeland almost put the Eagles ahead shortly after the break with a header from a free kick, but his effort was well saved by Fabianski in the Swansea goal.
Towards the end of the game Bamford had a glorious chance to win it for the Eagles but his shot from around the penalty spot was aimed straight at Fabianski who blocked it well.
Zaha then had Palace's best chance in the last 10 minutes, when he turned Kyle Naughton inside-out but then his curling shot went agonisingly past the far post.
In injury time Hangeland up ended Bafetimbi Gomis just outside the penalty area, and Wayne Hennessey produced a fantastic save from the resulting free kick to keep the score level.
Palace's next game is a home tie against Chelsea at Selhurst Park on Sunday 3rd January.
