Name: Gemma.

Nickname: Gem or Ginge.

Age: 22.

Occupation: Dance teacher.

Hometown: Croydon.

Years on the team: Third season.

What have you enjoyed most about being a Crystal so far? When we were all in the Christmas kit for the Southampton game last year and it really made me feel Christmassy. At that point, I started to feel a bit more like Christmas.

What's the funniest thing that's happened? At that game I dropped my pom on the pitch at the end of one of the dances. There are pictures where you can see a few of us laughing.

What is something that you can't help but spend money on? Clothes and food. A lot of us quite enjoy our food. I like crisps and chocolate – I'm a bit of a chocaholic – and do like a Domino's every now and then.

What do you keep in the boot of your car? I'm a dance teacher so I always keep a portable stereo and my dance books with all the information I need. I've got a few jumpers, hoodies and some scarves. I've also got some jump leads, just in case.

Something you can't live without? Friends and family because they are definitely a big thing in my life.

What do you do for fun outside of cheerleading? Sometimes I like to stay at home and watch a series on Netflix or go out with the girls.

What is a habit that you wish to break? I'm trying to not go on my phone as much. I'm getting better!

What three things would you take with you on a deserted island? I'd have to drag someone along to keep me company, water and my phone to keep me updated.

If the zombie apocalypse happened tomorrow, which three Crystals would you want fight next to you and why? Georgia because I've known her for a long time and know she wouldn't take any nonsense. She would also most likely talk our way out of trouble. Stacey would definitely give it a go and Grace would be, "Let's run" and I'd run with her.

What is the last thing you do before you go to bed? I brush my teeth and take off my make-up then check my phone and set a few alarms.

What actress would play you in your life story? Alyson Hannigan who plays the ginger girl in American Pie. Not because she is ginger but she is funny and I'd quite like someone like her personality to play me.
