Although I had come to terms with having a bald head, I did feel less of  a person with it, like I was not on the same level playing field as  everyone else.

Two weeks later I was back at the clinic for my first appointment out of three. The treatment is split into 3 sessions as it is a gradual build up of pigment and density, for the most natural looking result.

I was nervous at the beginning, what would I look like? What would my family and friends think? But the practitioner put me at ease, he was confident that I was going to love it, and I knew I could trust him. I’ve had tattoos before so I knew a little of what to expect, actually this was less pain full than a tattoo, just a small scratching sensation.

After the 1st session, the hairline was taking shape and there was a light coverage over all of the balding areas. The 2nd was 1 week later during the next 3 hours the hairline was perfected and another layer of tiny dots make the coverage almost complete.

I looked completely different, and during the 3 weeks wait until the final appointment, I found my self looking in the mirror, a lot!

The final appointment was a month later, after the first two sessions had completely healed and settled down, any patchiness was fixed and the treatment was blended seamlessly into my existing hair (around the sides of my head). I was amazed my the final results, and also how nobody could tell what I had had done. Even old friends were asking why I looked younger and I felt pretty smug!

The treatment hasn’t just changed the look of my face, defining my features with a hairline, but my clothes look better on my now too, it’s like my outfits complete.
