Crystal Palace were defeated 3-1 away to Leicester City.
Palace crashed to a second successive defeat, are yet to keep a clean sheet in the league, and failed to end Leicester's 19-game unbeaten home record in the league.
It was almost a nightmare start for the Eagles after just three minutes when Steve Mandanda passed straight to Shinji Okazaki but the striker's chip was well wide.
Palace grew into the game and Christian Benteke was desperately unlucky not to score on 15 minutes, but his header from Martin Kelly's left-wing cross smacked against the bar with Kasper Schmeichel well beaten.
Leicester's best chance came just over 20 minutes later as Riyad Mahrez cut in from the right and his curling shot hit Okazaki and was diverted fractionally off target.
The Foxes got their first goal three minutes before half-time through Ahmed Musa who, after good build-up play from Okazaki and Islam Slimani, fired in from the edge of the box after the Palace defence were unable to clear their lines.
After the break, Islam Slimani went close for the Foxes as his finish rippled the side-netting. However, his side double their lead on 63 minutes. Danny Drinkwater's cross into the area was cleared by Damien Delaney, but only as far as Okazaki, who drilled low inside the post.
Schmeichel denied Wilfried Zaha, and after Lee Chung-yong and Fraizer Campbell entered the fray, the home goalkeeper then kept out Yohan Cabaye's effort.
Leicester put the game beyond reach in the 80th minute with a fantastic strike from Christian Fuchs outside the box with a crisp, left-foot half volley that gave Steve Mandanda no chance.
Benteke fluffed a one-on-one with Schmeichel who easily collected his poor attempt. And the Eagles pulled a goal back for 3-1 with five minutes remaining as Cabaye side-footed home Zaha's cross.
Riyad Mahrez should have grabbed a fourth in stoppage time with Palace stretched at the back but Mandanda saved well.
