Crystal Palace's dismal run of defeats continued with a 2-1 loss at home to Manchester City.
Alan Pardew's side again failed to keep a clean sheet as they crashed to a fifth successive reverse and slip to just a point above the relegation zone.
City got the opening goal in the 39th minute through Yaya Toure, who after Martin Kelly had given the ball away, swapped passes with Nolito and blasted home from the edge of the box.
Pardew changed things up at half-time, taking off Andros Townsend and putting on Connor Wickham to give Palace a bigger aerial threat after City's towering captain Vincent Kompany limped off injured.
City keeper Claudio Bravo kept his side in the match with a point-blank save from Christian Benteke's header off Jason Puncheon's cross and Wilfried Zaha flashed the rebound wide.
Sergio Aguero almost made it 2-0 for the away team but Joel Ward hacked off the line after Wayne Hennessey had saved his initial shot. And seconds later Palace were level.
The Wickham switch paid dividends as the striker equalised on 66 minutes by picking up Wilfried Zaha's cross and taking the ball past Pablo Zabaleta before blasting into the net.
But seven minutes from time, City grabbed a cruel winner with Toure again on the scoresheet. Not for the first time this season, terrible marking from Palace allowed Toure to nip in unmarked to easily convert Kevin de Bruyne's low corner.
Palace couldn't find another goal and have now collected just one point out of a possible 18 and pressure is now mounting on manager Pardew to turn things around fast.
