Crystal Palace exited the FA Cup with a 3-0 defeat at home to Manchester City.

City notched their first two minutes before the break when debutante Gabriel Jesus sent Raheem Sterling clear and he put a calm finish beyond Wayne Hennessey.

They added a second on 71 minutes as David Silva set up Leroy Sane who scored from an acute angle.

And two minutes into second-half stoppage time, Yaya Toure dispatched a free-kick from 30 yards to make it 3-0 to City.

Palace: Hennessey, Ward, Tomkins, Kelly, Schlupp (Fryers 75), Lee, Mutch (McArthur 66), Flamini, Ledley, Townsend, C. Benteke (Remy 46).

Not used: Perntreou, Delaney, Cabaye, Kaikai.

Man City: Caballero, Sagna, Kompany, Kolorov, Clichy, Delph, Toure, Sterling (Navas 67), Silva (Fernando 78), Sane (Nolito 83), Jesus.

Not used: Bravo, Zabaleta, Stones, De Bruyne.
