Trevor Francis
New boss Trevor Francis felt Palace should have got at least a point from the game against Burnley.
The Eagles lost 2-1 at Selhurst Park and it was their fourth defeat on the trot.
Francis said: "On the balance of play we were undeserved losers. I thought we merited something from the game.
"I'd like to give a big thank you to the supporters for a marvellous reception but it would have been nice not to lose.
"I spoke to the players prior to the game, but I made it clear I wouldn't interfere. I had an input prior to the game and at half-time because there is nothing wrong with encouraging the players. But the coaching staff picked the team."
