Crystal Palace were thrashed 5-0 away to Manchester City.
The Eagles were comprehensively outplayed right from the start and suffered their third consecutive defeat with top-flight safety still not certain.
They had a nightmare start by conceding after just two minutes through David Silva. The playmaker lofted to Raheem Sterling on the left, who crossed into the mixer, and Martin Kelly headed straight to Silva who fired home.
Four minutes after the break, Palace failed to properly clear a City corner and an unmarked Vincent Kompany rifled a fine shot beyond Wayne Hennessey.
Ten minutes later, Kevin De Bruyne made it 3-0 with a low strike into the bottom corner that Hennessey got a hand to, having earlier hit the bar with a free-kick.
Sterling added a fourth goal on 82 minutes from De Bruyne's knockdown, before Nicolas Otamendi scored the fifth goal in the second minute of time added on.
Man City: Caballero, Fernandinho, Kompany, Otamendi, Clichy, Toure, Sterling, De Bruyne, Silva (Zabaleta 67), Sane (Navas 84), Jesus.
