Crystal Palace were routed 5-0 by Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.
The Eagles remain stuck at the bottom of the Premier League table still with no goals and no points after this thrashing.
They kept City at bay with solid first-half performance and almost broke their scoring duck but Ruben Loftus-Cheek's shot hit the upright.
Palace defender Mamadou Sakho had earlier nodded a clearance against his own post, and with City dominating possession, the Eagles would have been happy to have gone in goalless at the break.
However in the 44th minute, the home team got the opening goal after Leroy Sane skillfully lifted David Silva's perfect pass over Scott Dann's head before slotting in.
Then six minutes into the second half, Raheem Sterling converted Sane's cross to double City's lead and there was now no way back for Palace.
Sterling added another in the 59th minute by putting away Sergio Aguero's cutback from close range.
City made it 4-0 on 79 minutes with an Aguero header from Sane's pinpoint cross from the left wing.
And 10 minutes later, substitute Fabien Delph notched City's fifth with a brilliant effort into the top right corner to cap a miserable day for Roy Hodgson's side.
