Team news

Manager Roy Hodgson will be without a number of players for this clash against Leicester at the King Power Stadium. Midfielder Luka Milivojevic will serve a one-game ban after picking up five bookings this season, so James McArthur is set to come in.

In defence, there are injuries to Mamadou Sakho (calf), Joel Ward (groin) and Timothy Fosu-Mensah (hamstring), leaving Hodgson short at the back.

Leicester duo Robert Huth (ankle) and Matty James (Achilles) both won't play, but Vicente Iborra and Marc Albrighton are aiming for recalls to the side.

Palace (from): Speroni, Hennessey, Kelly, Dann, Tomkins, Riedewald, Schlupp, Van Aanholt, Souare, Townsend, Loftus-Cheek, Puncheon, Cabaye, McArthur, Mutch, Ladapo, Sako, Kaikai, Zaha, Benteke.

Quotes

Roy Hodgson

"Leicester are a good team with good players and Claude Puel has done well. It is no surprise they are doing well; it is not that long ago they were the champions of England.

"We have to be respectful of them and fear the quality they have. We would have been, even without their recent results.

"Of course [Benteke] not scoring is a concern to us, him and the fans. He needs to keep working hard and make a good contribution to the team. We can't afford to carry anyone, let alone a goalscorer who isn't scoring goals. We won't keep reminding him about it. I wouldn't be gaining a great deal by doing that."

Claude Puel

"It is important to keep the momentum on the pitch, not see the position now, but see the table at the end and be happy. I think this team [Palace] have come back with quality and good results. They've improved, and have good players in all positions.

"We started a busy period. It was a good challenge to see the possibilities and performance of other players but we cannot play every game with the same players."
