Crystal Palace conceded a last-gasp goal to go down 1-0 at home to Tottenham Hotspur.

A patchwork Eagles side with 12 players sidelined frustrated Spurs for the vast majority of the game but they allowed Harry Kane to net an 88th minute winner.

The lengthy injury list meant that Eagles manager Roy Hodgson handed Academy winger Aaron Wan-Bissaka his senior debut at right back.

Tottenham, who are battling for a Champions League place, had almost 80 per cent possession and dominated from the start.

Wayne Hennessey made a number of fine stops to keep the North Londoners at bay and Kane spurned a couple of decent opportunities.

However, the England striker broke Palace's hearts by heading home the winner from close range after shaking off his marker Damien Delaney just two minutes from time.

Palace remain outside the relegation zone on goal difference with 27 points from 28 games played.

Palace: Hennessey, Wan-Bissaka, Fosu-Mensah, Tomkins (Delaney 84), Van Aanholt, Milivojevic, Riedewald, McArthur, Townsend (Lee 86), Sorloth, Benteke.

Not used: Henry, Souare, Kirby, Rakip, Lokilo.

Tottenham: Lloris, Aurier, Sanchez, Dier, Davies, Wanyama, Dembele (Son 80), Eriksen, Alli, Lamela (Lucas 66), Kane.

Not used: Vorm, Trippier, Rose, Foyth, Sissoko.
