Crystal Palace midfielder Jordon Mutch has spoken of his frustration at a lack of game time at Vancouver Whitecaps.
He had been frozen out at Palace and signed for the MLS team in a one-year loan deal in March with the Caps having an option to buy.
The 26-year-old has only managed six starts and five substitute appearances with a foot injury sustained in July keeping him out of action.
Now the Derby-born player is fit again, he is aiming to get more time on the pitch for the business end of the campaign and help his side make it to the play-offs.
"There's been some downs, there's been some ups, it's been another experience," he said.
"But I'm just looking to finish the season strong and do everything we can to get in this play-off spot and finish on a high.
"The past two years I haven't played a lot of games, so being in an environment now where I'm starting to play more I think this is always going to happen.
"Hopefully that's behind me now and I can start getting games under my belt. When the gaffer puts me in I'll be ready to play."
Mutch, who scored once this season against Chicago Fire, says the switch overseas to live in Canada has been a straight-forward transition.
He said: "The adjustment was really easy, the staff make it very comfortable for you, the players are great and the city is really easy to live in. The only adjustment is being away from your family but it's enjoyable living in this city."
