Crystal Palace finally claimed a home league win after a 2-0 success against Fulham.

The Eagles registered just their third Premier League victory at Selhurst Park this season and their first since a triumph over Leicester in mid December.

Eagles skipper Luka Milivojevic settled the nerves with a 25th-minute penalty after Fulham's Cyrus Christie handled in the area.

Christian Benteke almost added a spectacular strike with an overhead kick that smacked against the upright.

Whites keeper Sergio Rico denied Jordan Ayew and Jeffrey Schlupp, while Mamadou Sakho missed a gilt-edged header and should have scored.

Three minutes from time, Schlupp notched a second on the rebound off Rico's brilliant save from new signing Michy Batshuayi.

Palace: Guaita, Wan-Bissaka, Tomkins, Sakho, Van Aanholt, Townsend, Milivojevic, McArthur, Schlupp (Sako 90), Ayew (Batshuayi 82), Benteke (Meyer 72).

Not used: Hennessey, Kelly, Dann, Riedewald.

Fulham: Rico, Odoi, Le Marchand, Ream (Vietto 45), Christie (Fosu-Mensah 62), Chambers, Seri, Bryan, Cairney, Babel (Ayite 88), Mitrovic.

Not used: Fabri, Cisse, Kebano, Sessegnon.
