Selhurst Park
Crystal Palace were held to a goalless draw at home to Everton at Selhurst Park.
It was the eighth game Palace have been unable to score in at home this season – only Huddersfield (nine) have failed with more – and their fourth goalless league draw, the most in the division.
Everton dominated a scrappy first half with the blustery wind making it difficult for either side to play a high standard of passing football.
The Eagles showed more attacking intent after half-time but it was Everton who came closest to scoring after Bernardo's shot struck the Palace post.
Palace stopper Vicente Guaita kept his team in the game with an amazing block to deny substitute Cenk Tosun's back heel from close range.
The Toffees hit the post for a second time when Lucas Digne's cross from the left evaded Guaita and clipped the far upright as the fixture ended all square.
Palace: Guaita, Van Aanholt, Dann, Kelly, Wan-Bissaka, Meyer (Townsend 72), Kouyate, Milivojevic, McArthur, Zaha, Benteke.
Not used: Hennessey, Ward, Riedewald, Sako, Batshuayi, Ayew.
Everton: Pickford, Digne, Zouma, Keane, Coleman, Gueye, Schneiderlin, Bernard (Lookman 84), Sigurdsson (Walcott 86), Richarlison, Calvert-Lewin (Tosun 73).
Not used: Stekelenburg, Baines, Jagielka, McCarthy, Walcott.
