Crystal Palace won 3-2 at Cardiff City to relegate the Welsh side from the Premier League.

Cardiff's Josh Murphy struck the post inside the first minute, but Palace took the lead on 28 minutes with a Wilfried Zaha strike into the bottom corner from the edge of the area for his 10th goal of the season.

Two minutes later, Martin Kelly diverted a Leandro Bacuna cross past a stranded Vicente Guaita and into his own net to level the scores.

Michy Batshuayi then bagged his Palace fourth goal to put his team 2-1 up six minutes before the break after a fine team move involving Zaha, Luka Milivojevic and Jordan Ayew.

In the 70th minute, Andros Townsend cut in from the right to score with a low drive in off the post for a third Eagles goal.

Bobby Reid made it 3-2 to the Bluebirds in the 90th minute with a neat finish from the edge of the area but it was not enough.

Cardiff: Etheridge, Peltier, Morrison, Ecuele Manga, Bennett, Gunnarsson, De Cordova-Reid, Ward (Zohore 59), Murphy (Hoilett 79), Camarasa (Bacuna 9), Mendez-Laing.

Not used: Richards, Cunningham, Murphy, Healey.

Palace: Guaita, Wan-Bissaka, Dann, Kelly, Ward, Milivojevic, McArthur, Townsend (Kouyate 83), Ayew (Meyer 77), Zaha, Batshuayi (Sako 73).
