Palace are wasteful against Wolves

Crystal Palace conceded a stoppage-time equaliser to draw 1-1 at home to 10-man Wolverhampton.

Wolves had the best chance of the first half with Matt Doherty forcing a flying save from Palace stopper Vicente Guaita.

Seconds after the restart, Palace took the lead after Joel Ward's shot deflected off Leander Dendoncker and into his own net.

Romain Saiss was sent off after getting a second yellow card after tugging back Wilfried Zaha.

But Palace failed to make it count as Christian Benteke and Jeffrey Schlupp squandered easy chances to score.

And in the fifth minute of stoppage time, Adama Traore's cross from the right was poked home from Jota at the far post.

Palace: Guaita, Ward, Cahill, Sakho, Van Aanholt, Schlupp, McArthur (McCarthy 83), Milivojevic, Kouyate, Zaha, Ayew (Benteke 69).

Not used: Hennessey, Kelly, Dann, Meyer, Townsend.

Wolves: Patricio, Boly, Coady, Doherty (Neves 57), Saiss, Jonny, Moutinho, Dendoncker (Neto 65), Traore, Jimenez (Cutrone 76), Jota.

Not used: Ruddy, Vallejo, Gibbs-White, Vinagre.
