Team news

Crystal Palace centre half Mamadou Sakho is a doubt after picking up a slight strain and will be assessed on the day of the game. Striker Connor Wickham is back in training after recovering from a knock but is not match fit.

Norwich goalkeeper Tim Krul and skipper Alex Tettey are both sidelined. Defender Max Aarons (ankle) could return and Ralf Fahrmann is a doubt.

Onel Hernandez, Timm Klose, Tom Trybull, Mario Vrancic and Christoph Zimmermann are all missing for the Canaries.

Roy Hodgson

"I'm expecting to play against a very good team I must say all of the information that we the coaching staff have been given, they look very, very good. When they lost at Liverpool (on the opening day) I remember watching thinking they were a very, very good team. I would rather be playing against another team, a team I feared a bit less."

Daniel Farke

"I expect a different game from the one to Burnley (last weekend). The approach of Palace is different. It is an unbelievably difficult task. They have unbelievable qualities and options. They won't be the team at the end of the season with the lowest amount of goals, that's for sure."

Luka Milivojevic

"[In this league] You beat [Manchester] City and then you lose to Burnley, that happened to us many times last season.

"Every game is different, the styles of play are different. They are a team who love to play, love to build up from the back and love to have possession.

"We are going to try and do our best and to use their weaknesses to try and punish them."
