Crystal Palace are set to move for Ade Akinbiyi in a £2.5m deal, according to newspaper reports.

According to the Daily Mirror, Palace and Leicester have agreed a transfer fee and it's now up to Akinbiyi to make his mind up on the move.

The striker has found it hard to find the back of the net since his £5m transfer from Wolves in 2000.

He has only scored twice this season in a struggling Leicester side and has been a target of the boo-boys.

He scored 18 goals in the 1999-2000 while with Wolves, before Peter Taylor brought him to Filbert Street for £5m.
