April 3 2002

Matt Clarke

Matt Clarke

Matt Clarke is set to be out of action for the next two weeks, following an eye injury sustained in Monday's match with Birmingham.

The former Bradford man had to go off injured at half-time with a swollen eye after getting hit in the face with the ball, making a save from Stern John.

He was replaced by third-choice keeper Cedric Carasso as reserve stopper Alex Kolinko was injured.

Clarke has been told to rest and Kolinko should have recovered from his medial ligament sprain picked up playing for Latvia, in time for Sunday's trip to Crewe.
