Freedman earns place in PFA team

Dougie Freedman has earnt his place in the PFA Division One team of the season.

Freedman, who has bagged 21 goals this season and has also been provider for many of the 24 goals that Clinton Morrison has scored, was included in the PFA list that was announced on Sunday.

There is no place for Morrison in the list however, despite his goal tally. The other 10 players in the team were mainly made up by players in the top three teams in the division, Manchester City, Wolves and West Brom.

The full PFA Division One team was as follows:

Russell Hoult (WBA), Graham Alexander (Preston), Darren Moore (WBA), Joleon Lescott (Wolves), Neil Clement (WBA), Eyal Berkovic (Manchester City), Mark Kennedy (Wolves), Ali Benarbia (Manchester City), Robert Prosinecki (Portsmouth), Shaun Goater (Manchester City), Dougie Freedman (Crystal Palace).
