That's a company with a market capitalisation of more than bn using it. Obviously a reference to the origin of the vehicles rather than a race of people. Plus it's a vile drink. I came across an app for streaming pakistani TV called 'Pakee'. Light-hearted use by the subjects themselves you could argue. I can't see how any of this is relevant however. Even if you dispute that these are slurs, these were compounded by use of derogatory stereotypes by Mackay which were subsequently endorsed by Wheelan. And if we focus on Mackay, these comments were not limited to racism, but were also sexist, anti-semitic and homophobic. It's hardly just the Guardian an its readers who'd agree isn't a very good look for the club and I don't think your employer would really like you talking in the same fashion. I really thought you were better than that.The frightening thing is you don't even realise how inappropriate your comment is. I'm not going to dignify such trash with further comment. Kermit, I appreciate where you are coming from, but, as you know, it is entirely possible for comments by the Whelan/Malky/Tux triumvirate to reflect both ignorance and prejudice. Oh well, must go now.
