In my neck of the woods :

1. Waiting whilst the level crossing gates are down.There are two level crossings in quite close proximity.On occasions one has to wait for 1,2 or sometimes 3 trains to pass.

2. There is a road of just under 3.5 miles called 'Long Furlong'.
I have a proclivity to get into a hissy fit when behind a large truck, tractor or some other vehicle which proceeds at slow speed up the hill and for the entire stretch of road and more often than not there are few opportunities to overtake.
Truly gets my dander up.

I don't even bother with those anymore Willo, quicker just to drive over the bridge by Morrisons and double back.

long furlong is a beauty 6 -7am on a workday morning if I have the misfortune to be driving to Croydon to work.
However, what a downer coming home around 5pm & after an hour & half commute, im stuck behind a lorry or 30mph driver.
My daughter lives in East Preston, those crossings !!!!

Last Sunday I was waiting in the barbers to get my hair cut. There are 5 chairs. 3 of them were occupied by 20-something pretty boys who were all having the works - poncey quiffed haircuts, beard trims that were so precise I'm surprised they didn't get a ruler out, and this thing where they put a sticky stick up their hooters then yank it out. WTF is all that about ?

All this takes a bloody age whilst I'm waiting for a proper blokes haircut that takes 10 minutes.
