Ted Nugent, Alex Liefson was superb, Neil Peart and Ian Paice favorite drummers, Bill Ward definatly the hardest hitting drummer and Geezer Butler a great bassist.
“That’s a joke son, I say, that’s a joke.” “Nice boy, but he’s sharp as a throw pillow.” “He’s so dumb he thinks a Mexican border pays rent” “ “Son… I say, son, some people are so narrow minded they can look through a keyhole with both eyes.”__ Forhorn Leghorn |

Abe Laboriel Jnr is a session drummer of immense talent - drummers are often sidelined by slick guitarists, but pivotal to the band. Laboriel plays for McCartney and Clapton among many others and if you saw McCartney at Glastonbury last year you will remember this guy working his socks off.
Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled. |

I used to play the drums a bit in the distant past, for me Paice was fastest stick work, Neil Peart most complicated sequences, Bill Ward the Loudest, and John Bonham probably best all round, rock only. but is there any other music

As was famously said of him 'he had to keep up with the 3 geniuses in front of him'!

She bought me a Tommy Emmanuel CD many, many years ago and I don't think that I ever played it thinking that it was the usual rubbish. I must see if I've still got it Have a look on YouTube. There are some clips of him playing with his brother Phil who was also very, very good.

Blondie's drummer was/is very good too but hardly gets a mention. Last time I listened to Parallel Lines I just concentrated on the drums. Quality hitting of the highest order!
