Ringo's reputation has also been revised over the past few years with quite a few drummers saying he was actually very good.
He was in the right band too - Keith Moon or John Bonham wouldn't have been such a good fit.

The way the other Who members speak musically about Moon sometimes you wonder if he could play drums at all!

The best drummer ever is widely considered to be Buddy Rich.
His speed and technical skill is pretty impressive.

The Late John Lord was a magnificent classical trained keyboard player and his inter play with Blackmore was superb, "Lazy" being a great example.

Totally agree about Jon Lord. Totally revolutionised the use of the Hammond organ. Listen to Deep Purple's Hard Lovin' Man. Blackmore and Lord's guitar/Hammond organ solo interplay is phenomenol.

Also, for me UFO are to me such an underrated band. With Schenker they were out of this world. The way Schenker's guitar works so melodically behind Phill Mogg's vocals is beautiful. Not mention Paul Raymind's keyboards and Pete Ways' bass playing. Great band!
