Never seen it, if you won’t accept the statement scientific facts , how about evidence based care for children? Unless you think giving children puberty blockers is acceptable?. It approaches every story with its own agenda in mind and not the intention of providing a truthful account and allowing the reader to reach their own conclusions. Much of the commercial media are like that but the Mail is especially bad. Whose truthful? As what’s true, or not, is often a matter of opinion that’s going to vary between the receiver. The better question is who is more reliably objective. For me they are the public service providers. Those free of the profit motive. I don’t know enough about any medical dangers involved in puberty blockers so from a purely scientific view don’t have an opinion. From the emotional and personal view of anyone suffering from gender dysphoria I defer to the professionals involved. They are the experts. Not us.

Yup, and a mate of mine writes for the M-on-S and says the same. The leader writers are all ex public school and of the colour of the paper. But the actual journos are all red to the core.

That's fine then as puberty blockers are banned on the NHS now, and in many countries. We still get the lunatic fringes letting off smoke bombs and intimidating more qualified medical professionals, however, for their ideology. I suspect they will be quietly let go by the BBC and rather less quietly referred to the medical council. They seem to be advocating for something that at best is not considered best practice, at worst is actually physically and mentally harmful. I expect at least a concerned Mail reader will have written a letter to the medical council.

That's why the cool heads of the medical council, and related organisations, exist. To take the heat out and look only at the facts.
