FYI this was happening before Biden was inaugurated... with the active involvement of the previous administration. Trump didn’t pull ALL the troops out. They’ve been there the entire time he’s been in office. And not in a neutral capacity.

‘The American occupation forces continue to plunder Syria's wealth of oil, gas and agricultural crops, burning and destroying what it cannot steal," Jaafari said, as quoted by the state-run Syrian Arab News Agency.

During his address, he said the US should withdraw its troops from Syria - a goal of the past administration that it failed to meet.’

It was my wife's remark over dinner this evening. Out of the blue and not in any way encouraged by me. I think caused by some of her colleagues from EU countries deciding to return "home". As they work in the NHS it's rather bad timing she probably thinks. On top of that she has heard complaints about how tiresome it is going to be when people want to make a trip to their holiday home in France. I think that's wrong and there won't be insurmountable barriers but hey ho, some seem to think so.

I think you need to check your sources a little more thoroughly. This is how conspiracy theories go viral.

The National File is known as a conspiracy and pseudoscience website that reports from a conservative perspective. I have taken a look at their site and whilst some of their articles are clearly inventions I don't see this one. Maybe it is an old one. It does though have the ring of untruth about it.

It might be that it takes more than 2 or 3 days to make important strategic military adjustments. If you're going to label the guy as a war mongerer while saying nothing when the previous President did exactly the same, your concern would appear to be a little misplaced and political.
